The Beach of l'Estaque

In the mythical neighbourhood of the Estaque are the only beaches of the northern districts. A set of three beaches in succession after the Estaque. The advantage of these beaches is that they are clean even in summer, easy to access, large enough and with a magnificent view over all of Marseille.

Between two baths, do not hesitate to take a walk around the village of Estaque. A true source of inspiration for many artists, painters and writers, it also served as the setting for Robert Guédiguian's film "Marius and Jeannette". L'Estaque has managed to preserve its authenticity as a Provençal village, which has earned it its reputation throughout the world.

Stop for a moment on the port to taste the famous Chichis Frégis, or the panisses. Finally, push the door of one of the many restaurants to discover all the flavors of this unique district of Marseille. The port is also the meeting place for all sailing enthusiasts, it is also a very famous seaport.

The three beaches that compose the area are all frequented by families and are therefore very pleasant. These are also the beaches where you can find the clearest water in Marseille. Spaces are arranged to make picnics and barbecues safely.
