The calanques are not only creeks and beaches! The natural park contains other hidden treasures. Marseille Tourisme recommends a hike to the Col de la Gardiole. Imagine a path crossing pine forests, large stretches of greenery for picnics, vineyards and a superb view over the calanques between Marseille and Cassis. You will pass through the Col de la Gardiole, the Puits de Cancel, ruins and valleys. Finally, you may also carefully approach the Gouffre aux Quatre Trous... You can also go to the Calanque d'En Vau. Bring water, a cap, sunglasses and of course a good pair of shoes! For the more sporty, why not try mountain biking?
